Commentary:
K0WAV Scott : Good evening Bob and all on the net
K0WAV Scott : well today was the first day of sunshine since Wed of last week.
K0WAV Scott : We have had some much rain that I was thinking I would have to change out
K0WAV Scott : the pastures from fescue to KELP! ha ha.
K0WAV Scott : Not a lot to report here, just some simple network work, and ISP work.
K0WAV Scott : only thing of note was a 6 meter contact from AR to Argentina 5917 miles.

KX4AC Carl : Well, I guess I finally got my alarm set properly! That should take care of me
KX4AC Carl : at least until we change clocks again :-/ In the meantime I found a place
KX4AC Carl : called "West Valley Hamshack" ... cool place. They have classes, they have
KX4AC Carl : radios for member use, the have workbenches and test equipment and parts, and
KX4AC Carl : even a museum of radios through out the ages. Oh, and a surplus store! All
KX4AC Carl : I picked up was a nice Motorola external speaker and some wire for an EFHW that
KX4AC Carl : I want to put up, but they did have a nice collection of old radios for sale.
KX4AC Carl : I still have not gotten out the ladder for the EFHW but I did put up the
KX4AC Carl : Buddipole in the backyard over the weekend. It works pretty good, but would
KX4AC Carl : be better if I could get it up a bit higher. We have some low mountains
KX4AC Carl : in the area that are a bit of a pain.
KX4AC Carl : I also spent some time exploring and went to "Butterfly Wonderland." It is
KX4AC Carl : basically a largish indoor rainforest like area with tons of butterflies
KX4AC Carl : roaming about. Had them land on my knee and shoe when I sat down. Cool place
KX4AC Carl : but a bit expensive for what it is. Got some nice pictures anyway.

KF5TVG Bob : of the flea market tables (~280 or so), so should be lots of great bargins
KF5TVG Bob : to choose from. It's a little over 2 hour drive from here, so I'm going to go over
KF5TVG Bob : Saturday morning, and stay until I win one of the great prizes. Hi Hi
