Hi Dave / all reading
According to the Winpack help files, the maximum subject length for that
program is 30 characters
However, that may just be the subject length in the Winpack message header
program rather than the maximum length that forms part of a forwarded
bulletin.
Taking a message to QST from CX2SA as an example,
The subject appears as:
ARLB027 FCC Wireless Bureau Ge
in the message index but in the message itself, the full length is printed.
Title :ARLB027 FCC Wireless Bureau Gets New Acting Chief
So for Winpack users, suggest keeping the subject length less than 31 :-)
