Hi Luc & all,
thank your for your observation!
We are aware of this issue, and we know what causes it, it is power /
attitude related & the way our power system works. The TX sounding distorted
sometimes is related to that also. We are currently working on a strategy to
fix this, but need a little more data from passes over our Groundstation
before we can take the proper action. And we are taking it step by step
since we certainly don't want to loose the bird!
Meanwhile, she is producing an abundance of telemetry, we're closing in on
the 70000 received frames number... amazing!
Oh, by the way, the -68.1 degrees figure you see on RAP1 (radio 1) is not a
valid reading, since that sensor is switched off because that radio is not
powered :) )
thank you all for listening and capturing telemetry!

Hello all,
FCAL is nearing the end of its mission. During its last few weeks, who

win a mission patch.

Hello,
Thank you to all of you giving me their opinions.
Related to the problem described in my previous message, the solution (easy)
was to REPLACE the Lithium-Battery BT1 by a new one .
Trakbox is now working and out of the dust after many years ! Tnx Delfi C3 !

Graham:
With the Linksys device being plastic, I dont know how effective
shielded cables would be. Not to mention they are usually more
expensive than the non-shielded ones. Have you tried putting toroids on
the network cables ? That might knock down the birdies a little bit.
Might not be a bad idea to put a toroids on the power cable to the
Linksys as well. Shouldnt need to but I am looking at possibilities.

Hey, lucky you! Want to trade? :)
I found one cable that was causing much of the noise--I got it down from about
S7 (!!!) to S1-2. Still a ways to go...
What hardware and firmware version are you running? Mine is Version 5
hardware, with current firmware (some silly long number ;-) )

Mark

I have the WRT54G Wireless router and find
NO birdies at 145.93 or anywhere in the 145 MHZ range.

Wouter,
Thanks to all your team, along with Bram who kindly replies to my signal
reports, for keeping us well informed. Your being open about the status
is indeed a very welcome change.
Please keep up the good work and I'm confident you'll sort out the
issues with Delfi-C3.
Regards...Bill - N6GHz
