Hi Luc, VE2DWE
The telemetry decoded by Mike DK3WN demonstrates that FO-29 is
working nominally.
If you choose a good orbit for you to contact me in JN70ES I am sure that
we can make another succesfull QSO in SSB
Please let me know about.

Hi Domenico
Just finishing tuning up an UHF beam will try FO-29 after a break in grid EL96
Che la vita...;) Will try hand held operation but with a
mobile whip i will test the newbie concept...
It will be interesting to see how horizon scratching QSO's will look like. Our
last one was made with my 3.5 meter dish.
AO-7 is now much more easy to work as the beam is tune around 432 and the path
is also quite good for EU.

Glad you were watching David, were you up in time so see the 9 am BST Delfi
presentations ? I guess they were a bit early for state side viewers hi.
I believe that the videos of the presentations will be available for download
but there were over 20 hours of presentations recorded so that's a lot of
volunteer work that will be needed which coupled with the vacation season will
mean it'll be a while before they are on the web.
Cubesats are comparatively cheap to launch, I think about $20,000 a kilo so a
triple cubesat would be 3 times that. Finding funding for launches at that
level is doable, the drawback is they are very small and have little power and
of course the orbit is only 700 km.
On the subject of power I was impressed to find out that the Delfi-C3
transponder is putting out just 150 milliwatts PEP, not what was on the
website and 30 mw for the beacon the signals are remarkable for that power
level.
Re the N3XT Delfi it's amazing how much stuff, inc batteries, they were
planning to cram into 4 by 12 inches (10*30cm). That should be a great
satellite.

Hi John,
The video you mention is one on my personal youtube channel and was
about testing the transponder and beacon while Delfi-C3 was still in
the clean room.
(note there is no doppler on the recording)
After that PE4WJ Wouter Jan and myself did the first QSO via the just
completed radio.
The official youtube channel has a video on the first received signal at:

Could anyone on this list help me set up the Nova frequency tracking for
Doppler effect compensation, please?
I'm looking forward to setting that Doppler effect tracking compensation on
FO-29, AO-51 and few other birds.
I have read the information on the software help but got confused about
frequency at the bird and at station, bird listening to you on a frequency
which is lower or higher than mine and so forth...
I appreciate your help!
Thanks in advance,
Luciano PT9KK
