Congrats, James ... and welcome to orbit!

I've only been working the satellites for a few months, but I still get the
same rush of excitement every time I hear that first signal, which tells me
I've acquired the satellite for a given pass. This is the most fun I've ever
had in amateur radio!

The one thing I've not been able to work out yet is hearing myself on
the downlink.  Others can hear me just fine, but I can't hear anything
much.

I'm guessing my TX is swamping the input of the RX.  Perhaps I can try
with an assistant at the far end of the garden ;-)
