Hi Simon / Miles.

You have both mentioned MMSSTV and not VoxRecorder. Will MMSSTV also save
Audio QSOs??

A vox recorder will work, however a running SSTV problem will work much
better. Just make sure you save the images to disk. Most if not all SSTV
programs have an Auto Receive move and will save to disk.

Hi,

No - but as far as I remember from a previous mailing there's a dedicated
frequency for SSTV, although anything could happen.

I would like to try receiving SSTV pictures using a VC-H1 and TH-D7AG combo
with a handheld Arrow antenna. The VC-H1 stores up to ten pictures. Does anyone
know of a program that will work with Windows XP that will allow the
downloading of the stored pictures to a computer? The software that Kenwood
originally provided does not seem to work under Windows XP.

Thank you for any help!

If you can not find a way to transfer images from your VC-H1 via software to a
Disk drive, you can try to Retransmit the images received.
Connect your spare 2-meter rig to a PC via the sound card.
Down load one of the Share ware SSTV programs and run it on your pc.
Then send the images one at a time from the VC-H1 to the pc.

Are you sure you can't run the vc-h1 software from xp?
