Heard N5UXT send 5-6 frames on the 1310Z pass. Using HRD, I decoded one
fairly clear picture of a cubical satellite, but never got a good enough
lock on the others. RX signal was excellent, but the audio level was a bit
low, and had enough noise that the uplink did not seem to be achieving full
quieting to AO-51.

Alan, you can always enable the HRD / DM780 SSTV Option to save the audio
for later replay: DM780 main menu, SSTV, Save, RX Audio.
You can them right-click on an image and replay the audio, you can also
upload the audio file to an FTP site (hint) so that others can see what
you're seeing.
20m SSTV nice and active today with lots of pretty young ladies and dogs and
stuff.

Hello Nick,
Probably the Microsoft Text-to-Speech software is missing on your system
after the hard drive failure. The "Voice Announcement" feature of SatPC32
reqires these files to be installed on the PC. You can download the files
for free, see the following links.
http://www.microsoft.com/reader/developers/downloads/tts.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=5e86ec97-40a7-453f-
b0ee-6583171b4530&DisplayLang=en#Requirements
See also the FAQs file on my website www.dk1tb.d e (English page
"Downloads").
Recently I myself got the same message after I had reinstalled Windows XP
from the recovery CD. The CD didn't install a soundcard driver for a newer
soundcard and I got no sounds at all from Windows XP.

HRD SSTV worked great for sending images via AO-51 last night. I received
It's probably something simple, but how do I configure HRD SSTV to date
stamp the received images?
Thank you,

Hi,
You can't add a stamp to the actual image but you can add when you upload
with FTP or display. The info is actually in he filename.
It would be easy for me to add a permanent timestamp.

Thanks Simon,
Adding the stamp at time of FTP is fine. FTP works great by the way.
Thanks for the response and great programs as usual. We appreciate your hard
work.

Just a quick note from the Melbourne, FL hamfest thanking all those that
have uplinked SSTV for the AO-51 event this weekend. Having enough folks to
transmit was the one worry I had about this event. Keep up the good work
guys!

Only over here in UK / Europe could we have idiots deliberately causing QRM
and blocking the SSTV use during the 17.45 - 17.55 utc pass.
What a sad bunch!

I made recordings of the entire pass, and could hear
inbetween that QRM still quite a bit of SSTV signals.
Unfortunately to much noise most of the time to decode.
.. I did see partially someone's shack I believe.
Thanks for transmitting the SSTV signals !
