I am planning to operate from Organ Pipe National
Monument, Arizona, DM31 beginning on November 17
with the evening passes of AO-51 and possibly
SO-50. DM31 is on the Mexican border and most
of the grid is in Mexico. We will probably leave
that grid on Wednesday morning, November 19th,
after the morning passes. If you need the card,
please send an SASE. This is a fairly rare grid.

Next stop will be in Sierra Vista, AZ, DM41 with
a possible operation from DM51 and/or DM52 sometime
during the next few days.

For those of you who worked me from Clinton, OK,
EM05 on October 31st, cards have been printed and
will be sent out during the next week or so. No
SASE needed. There are 14 stations in the log.
This was a spur of the moment stop with the
operation taking place on old US Route 66, just
outside the entrance to the White Dog Ranch as
the sun came up. If you sent an SASE for this
contact, don't send a card for the DM31 operation.
I'll just return a DM31 and/or DM51/52 card in
the envelope when we return home.

Hope to work everyone who needs DM31.

73,
John K8YSE

I just spent an hour reviewing the ASR collection from 1987 - Thanks Phil...
Quite a trip down NOStalgia Lane, with the names, callsigns, and events.

I have a bunch of these in a box somewhere, but this made it easy.
Maybe I'll find some appropriate history to contribute in similar fashion.
Great idea...
Thanks again /;^)

Aloha John

Re: Your Ops from Organ Pipe. I'd be happy to
give it a try from Hawaii at 0313Z 11/17/08.
AO-51 will be off the coast of Calif. and at 1 deg.
el. off Oahu. Should be a piece of cake HIHI.
Others interested might also give it a try.
Let me know so I can find the highest volcano to
sit on!! 73, robert, NH7WN
