If you can adjust your beams to have at least fixed small elevation (20 to 25 degrees)
its will be work great for your sat qsos.
Using co-linnear antenna (X-510) is not best choise for SAT's because its radiation
pattern pushed to the ground, but it can be used if satellite is just come visible
or when its footprint going away from your location.
But when satellite is over head its even better to use 1/4 wave vertical then
co-linnear system antenna.
And another good surgest for FM sats - stop TX'ing if you can't hear yourself - you
only will make QRM on SAT's RX input.
