Hi Angela and all,
You have me wondering about a solution I heard about a while back to conserve
electricity. Down under, thanks to Queen Julia and her greenie friends they
now have a carbon tax that shot electricity bills through the roof, so
combined with a lack of enough users and getting bored with it all Ray VK2TV
closed his BBS so I migrated here and found a home thanks to the grace and
generosity of Bob VK6ZRT.
Keeping in touch with a good friend via e-mail I heard of using Raspberry Pi
that uses but a fraction of the juice a computer does, so maybe you would
want to give it a try. The way things are going they'll only get worse so I
hope it will work out for you and others in this predicament.
By way of expressing my thanks to politically driven things like this Daffy
has a phrase that fits
