Ok, is that just a matter of, say, an agreement within the fbb/linux
community or something else?

Yes, it seems that I have some 70 items there (mostly various XPM
files). Should I try to re-compile the client in some other way, trying
to include those icons, or something?

Yep, you are right: I haven't noticed that. Btw, does 'xfbb' starts the
daemon somewhere in the background, or it just works without daemon at all?

Yes I tried that too. Seems that the first 2-3 squares from the left
side work, then some next 3-4 do not work, then finally the remaining
ones have their functions too. But anyway those small squares look bad.
Besides that, I have also noticed that, for example, a 'Pending forward'
square gives an empty pending_fwd_popup window - without callsigns of my
forwarding partners (see the picture). A mouse click on start_all
button returns no action.

Also, a mouse click on File menu, maintenance, will stop the system but
it seems it does not do any maintenance nor activates fbb again after a
while, so I have to do it manually. (Looks like that 'xfbb' command
works differently from eg. xfbbd + xfbbX)

Yep, that's the way I used for a long time now. It seems to have even
more reduced set of graphical commands. I
suppose that is the most from a GUI gaming
with LinFBB at the moment :-)

Hi all,

Does LinFBB 7.04p needs a kind of a Portmapper or similar software as
WinFBB in order to resolve 'dyndns' addresses into IP numbers etc. I
frequently switch from WinFBB+Portmapper to LinFBB and would like to
have a common mechanism for both systems.

Hi Misko,

LinFBB will do the lookups itself. Here is an example from one of my
forward files:

A CX2SA
   P C
   C C CX2SA cx2sa.net 6300
   V N6RME$Wxxxxxxxx$W

   B CX2SA
   F CX2SA

   < fwd/misc/bulletin.fwd
   < fwd/misc/flood.fwd
   < fwd/misc/world.fwd
   < fwd/misc/sbay.fwd

   R
----------

(As you can see, I use include files.)
