Subject: [xfbb] Problem with ax25<-->FBB
To: List for the LINUX version of FBB <xfbb(AT)f6fbb.org>
Hello,
I am running LinFBB 704p with ax25.
Frequently a connecting BBS will send a packet which can be the initial
headers or it can be a forwarding proposal and while the packet is seen
using listen FBB does not respond, the packet is acked by ax25.
This satisfies the sending BBS so they both just sit there exchanging
RRs from time to time.
I suspect that the fault is in FBB but I cannot be certain.
The ax25 files are the latest versions.
This is not just an intermittant fault but occurs in every connection at
some point.
If I change over the TNCs to WA8DED eproms the FBB works OK.
I do not know enough about how FBB talks to ax25 to be able to sort this
out. I really want to retain ax25 as I want to run FPAC in the same m/c.
Has anyone else seen this fault ?
