Hi!
I'm using FBB since many years. I never configured Unproto functionality.
Now a user asked me for unproto....so I'm going to configure it.
I am surprised because I noticed that my fbb doesn't send beacon at
interval and doesn't send unproto to each bulettin received.
I'll try to explain first my configuration and then I'll post my config
files.
FBB BBS (its callsign is IK2DUW-8) runs at a Debian LinuxBox and it has
three ports:
serial (wire link to another pc), xnet (axip to xnet node), telnet.
Main port is "xnet" where it accepts users connection's via digi, so
unproto should be send from
this port.
FBB Unproto and beacon should follow this path on xnet port: MAIL v
IW2OHX IQ2LB
IW2OHX is my Xnet digipeater (first hop)
IQ2LB is another digipeater at our radio club with radio port for user
access. (second hop)
Users are in stand-by at IQ2LB access port and wait for unproto beacon.
My problem, as I said before, is that FBB doesn't send beacon and
unproto ;-( I don't know why.
Maybe something is misconfigured.
