My book Gunsmoke still holds the honors. James Arness was no
cartoon character in that show. I think I have seen only a partial
episode in the 20 years of "simpsons" and that was enough.
My grandfather on his death bed from cancer was uttering lines from gunsmoke.
I can remember going over to his house, he have a quart beer in one hand
and watching Gunsmoke. He never missed it.
