I agree with you Bob. Gunsmoke was a real show, and
James Arness..well you are right..he was NO cartoon
character, and right on the money with me too!

That was really nice. It read like around our home here
in Canada, as well my Uncle's home in Indiana, where too
we watched them all, and also the changes in the show
as new characters came along to replace those in the
original.
My uncle enjoyed his Ginger Beer from CANADA, and oh
yes some Canadian Beer and my dad for the show would
pour the beer into the Ginger Beer bottle, so my
Aunt would not know the difference.... fun times.
Did you see my other posting about RAT PATROL ?
Also Bob...what about "Highway Patrol" ??? My
Uncle's most treasured show....his work stopper,
and all events were scheduled around that one...
Now to Warren...as I answer two posts at once.

Your last few words sum it up.."junk for simple minds".
I can not adjust to shows that are adult cartoons, it is
like having to see a movie like this...why am I here
for a cartoon?

Hmmm ,that also happened here. Dennis Weaver was terrific
in the part, and I had hoped he would have stayed....but
if he did..I wonder if we would have seen him as Mc Cloud
the Marshall ??? I think he was after James's job on
Gunsmoke. He was already the deputy.
