I dont have too much experience.
I start in 1990 with a commodore 64, in packet mode on VHF at 145.010.
The software is made in Germany are very good, we have a good back bone in
central america.
After years, some day we start with the the FBB after a JNOS after WinFbb,
the JNOS are very good for the multiple use's, Mail ax.25, e-mail,
Dx-Cluster, Dx-spots and the tunnel's connection's. The JNOS is gone. and
we start with the WinFBB.
Some day, a friend start with the APRS, i dont see any diference only this
city, many months later pick up the internet connection and i see all, a
small server with position's, conection's live finger to finger,
advisory's , DX-spots, BBS's and much more at 144.390 on APRS.
