I'm no expert on the subject.....
But I think you might be saying that a Telnet access port isn't a secure
thing even when guarded by having to supply a valid
Login name (ususally a Callsign) and a matching
Password (usually something with letters & numbers 8 characters or so)
It would be a big effort to break through that I imagine.....
No doubt a computer program could if it tried often enough...
That's why some systems "lock out" the Login name if there are more than a
few failed attempts with an incorrect password.
I haven't heard of any unauthorised Telnet access to Amateur Packet Radio
systems.......... Not saying there haven't been....... just haven't heard
about it.
Yes to pirates accessing through RF. I've heard about that.
