Good Morning...Afternoon..or Evening to everyone in YL@WW
Not really too much to report here from Jackson's Point,
except thru the month, we watched the SNOW reced...we watched
the flooding in the areas bordering the lake..and other
places, and as well watched as the lake melted...and the
first brave souls that went out fishing...not realizing
what dangers they placed themselves in...
Watched our temps soar to summer like..and then plunge
for the end of the month...which is today. Of course
they are promising better wx ...
The night Maria was flying home, they predicted FROST
but nothing happened here, which was good for my flowers
already blooming...along with the buds coming out on
the trees.
The Cookbook ...I see is gaining in size...and lately we
seemed to have a whole new area... called TEA. Great
selection of ideas of how to enjoy the morning cuppa.
Maria arrived home yesterday...left Brasil 30c and landed
in a frio land at 8c..but sunny skys. As usual, when
she got home, she declared it a "Disaster Area" despite
my efforts to clean, vacuum etc... I guess not good
enough ...<sigh> <g>.
Anyway...good to have her home...
Good to see, Sara AB7PS posting to let us know whats
happening in the Western USA ... and ... well no doubt
I expect to see some more posts and via email of her
garden etc...cuz once more...I venture into the
Jungle out there to see what I can grow again this
year.
Sorry to see that Shirl VK7HSC..lost her digipeater to
the BBS. But no doubt...we'll keep in touch via email
and if there is anything that Shirl has for posting, we
will pass it along...or perhaps it might come from
some one else in our YL@WW family ...
To everyone else ... that I have not heard from, or have
not seen posting lately...I hope all is well with you.
