It's been great seeing packet messages and I did try to reply but when I
tried to send my Christmas bulletin I got disconected and the who message
was lost. Anyway I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
Christmas Eve we attended the candlelight service at our church and then
our family gathered around our Christmas tree to exchange a few gifts and
eat KrumKake - the only goodie I made for our family celebration. (My
aunt used to bake KrumKake on a castiron iron set over the woodfire in
the kitchen stove. Now I have a lovely new electric iron which worked
very well.
We had Christmas dinner with the family at the step granddaughter's
duplex. It was almost a white Christmas as it started to snow about noon
but was very wet and soon turned to rain. Snow is very unpredictable
here.
This morning some slush had turned to ice - but the sun is out and all is
melted.
I'll wish Shirl and Max, Peter and Maria,everyone a Wonderful New Year -
Jacqueline and Angela, Michael (thanks for the recipes) and everyone
else reading this a Wonderful New Year.
