Hello everyone,
Nice to be able to get a message posted - things have settled down in our
house again and Max is active again in the yard and garden as he can.
The old trick is that Max was in hospital from 27th December until 4th
January making it an old trick for the new year. He had 24hrs in critical
care unit and then decided he didn't want to leave, so now he is on the go
again with different medication.
FIRE - FLOOD - DROUGHT we have had the lot in Australia, and all at the
same time in different parts of the country. Tasmania has had a few fires
that have given some trouble before they were bought under control. I have
seen some postings of the floods and how extreme that has been. The
footage on the evening news has been very graphic and my sympathy to all
the very unlucky people involved.
SARA that Krumkake sounded very interesting. I have a Crepe Iron - an
electrical thing heated then dipped in the batter like mixture, peeling
the crepe off when it cooks a very thin layer. Does that sound anything
like you are doing?
PETER you are on your own again. Hopefully not destroying things with
neglect<G> I hope Maria enjoys her holiday and the sunshine.
You mentioned us on Bass Strait fishing - not anymore. We sold the boat
about three years ago, it got too old for these two young people to handle
- that's my story and I'm sticking to it. It is a lot of work and the
older one gets the more it is necessary to reduce the work load, so that
part of our life is now in the memory bank, it gets drawn out from time to
time and some of it relived.
I hope to read some reports from some of you so I have something to reply
to.
Best wishes to all.
