Hello Shirl and all reading along .....mmmm doesn't look
like a recipe coming in this one from me, but it is
getting close to the day for things like that...
Sorry to hear your digi station had to close for a short
time, but then I already knew that, and my request was
ti ask if anyone was out following the thread?
My friend Allyn VE3PRG also needs to digi to the nearst
BBS, but now I found him a direct route so his packeteering
is going to be taking off...

Actually Shirl., I am not worried about dying, or having
accidents, or being hit by a truck. My comment, was
to ask if the YL@WW thread had come to an end? No one
seemed to be posting ... and via the Internet, well I
get tons of postings from the YL_net @ yahoo which
...well it certainly isn't packet radio.
I did lament, on the good memorys I had with the net,
and the cookbook disk so many years ago from nancy who
has left packet for other interests.
As you, and most that know me , know...I keep packet
radio <Amateur Radio> and the Internet separate. I love
my participation via RF means...using the equipment I
have as a hobby I enjoy ... and as for the Internet
and always having to guard against virus,hackers,intruders
and this and that...I loath the Computer connected to
Internet.
I was talking to Maria in Brasil [<0>] yesterday, and
it looked so nice there compared to the WX here ...warm
then -16c last night...and at this time...overcast
and my pinkys mum as I type on the keyboard.
This trend seems to be all over the globe, with disasters
associated with them being too much ....
No windows open here yet ... but I have sat out on the
back southern deck when it felt warm enough for shirt sitting.

Yes ... gardens too as Sara wrote about her garden and the tree

Thanks Shirl for checking in ... it is another great feature
of packet ... as you can post at anytime for someone in you
interest group such as =--> "YL@WW" to read at anytime they
sign into their local BBS...to read and respond to in time.
Hmmmm...reminds me I must update my URL.
