Hello to Everyone on the YL@WW ...
Well !!! ... Here we are again, and another month has
come and gone , either quickly or slowly, depending on what
is happening in your side of the world.
After such a long time, I have finally turned a corner
this month with getting all those recipes... from 1995
to the present ready, for another update to the
YL Cookbook.
We have our fingers crossed here that finally the snow
has stopped , and we'll get into spring. Hope so ..
both oil and wood running rather low. What a year
for weather ... and via everyone's comment, it seems
we're in the same boat. Maria, in Brasil has reported
lots of rain...storms....hot ..then plunging to low
temperatures < i.e : 8c at night>. Oh course Maria
is enjoying her visit home, as it was a moral boost to
her mother, who is suffering with leg pains and other
common complaints seniors have ...and they call these
years the "Golden Years" " Relaxed Retirement" ....mmm
I am already for the Garden this year ...I see the
compost box is just full, and of that will be spread
this year, as well something I want to try from
South America. Tomatos...are my reason, but
Maria has some other ideas of her own, so we're
ready and watching Sara AB7PS in Washington State
to see what she's up to <g> ... Last time I heard
Sara was out there ... working and has a head start.
A sign of Spring! BBQs were rolled out.... I even got
to enjoy my South American charcoal BBQ and enjoyed
Picana a few days ago ...
As for health ...not too bad. Dentist visits are
now the order of the day ... so while the chops are
full of gauze...the pinkies are on the keyboard <g>.
This is going to be a short report, as due to weather
being bad...storms..blizzards..freezing cold..ol Rusty
and I have stayed in. Yep ...tea..coffee, and chucking
wood into the fireplace to keep warm.
I wish all in the YL Net...all the best from Maria and
myself, may all your pains go away..seek relief, and
many thanks for your friendship and support over the
years...
