I thought you may find this interesting (and tasty)....

Eldred's method of making a good cup of tea !!!

Ingredients:

Tea: (preferably loose granular type)
Preferable brand: Tanganda / Tipco / Rooibos
Tea bags can be used but they simply do NOT have the flavour of the
granular type.
Sugar: white Hullets / Ilovo

Utensils:

Stainless steel or Porcelain tea pot, but not Aluminum !
Porcelain cups and saucers ("China" is nice but not essential) !
Tea strainer
Stainless steel teaspoons
Electric kettle

Method:

Fill the cups with boiling water (this is done for sterilization and to
take the chill off the cups).
Rinse the teapot out with some boiling hot water and immediately
afterwards add three level teaspoons of the tea to the pot.
Fill the pot, stir and leave to draw for approx two minutes, remember to
fit the lid.
Empty the cups of their now warm water, and give the teapot another stir.
Through the strainer, pour the tea into the cups to about three quarter
way full.
At this point add the sugar to the cups remembering each person's sugar
preference.
Now stir well, and at the same time whilst stirring and remembering who
likes weak and who prefers strong tea, add the milk.
Take the tray through to the guests telling them that this is YOUR tea
method.
Drink immediately.

Some people (by shear bad habit), prefer to pour their own tea. Allow them
this privilege. You'll notice that they will first add the milk. (This is
WRONG, because now they have no control over the tea strength). Then they
will pour in the tea, Then the sugar. (Adding sugar at this point is
WRONG, because the cup will be filled to a point where good stirring will
be impossible for fear of spillage).

DON'T use a "tea cozy" to keep the teapot warm. Make a fresh pot !
Excessive tea drawing, will result in a very strong brew, then you may
think by adding water will weaken it, but in practice it just doesn't work
out the same as the first pot. (There's no cup better than the first) !

I found cake, goes well with tea, so if you found the above interesting,
then let me know, and I will send a super chocolate cake recipe next.

Regards
Eldred
